The objects then needed to be placed in the room, starting with the table. This was created quite simply using the box tool, creating a thin rectangle shape and then long rectangles for the legs. The next step was to create the sofas for the living room. These were made by solely using the chamfer box tool. The base, armrests, back and cushions were created with this tool and the feet were made using the normal box tool. These items were then placed together and grouped to create the sofa. Copies of this were used to make a 1 piece, 2 piece and 3 piece sofa set. Next the extended wall piece was made again using the box tool; the auto grid was turned on so the box was drawn against the wall. Then the shape of the shelve could be drawn against the wall by drawing a profile of the shelve and extruding it out.
